Nothing planned for today except to watch the race and football!

Kassy has to bake some cookies for school tomorrow.

It looks like yet another cold wet, day here.

I got my scrapbook area uncluttered last night.

I am trying to get back into scrapbooking so I thought

I'd start with cleaning it up and going through it all. It looks

much better now. I'd like to have my puter there instead of the

down stairs den. I doubt it would work though. Well I'm off for now!

Well Joshua got good news. His friend won't be moving to his dads.

Joshua is so happy! I'm not sure if the mom & stepdad were trying

to scare him or what? So I'm keeping them in my prayers.

Well Kassy blew our minds yesterday. She blew it so bad she's grounded!

She had been looking forward to the school halloween party and well she didn't go.

Why? Becasue the day before the party (Thursday) they sent out progress reports.

She is low in a couple of classes. She stated that the teachers had said she did great.

So we told her if she brought home a note from each teacher stating this that she could go.

I was born at night but it wasn't last night....The girl thought her friends handwriting could fool me!!

She had friends write a note claiming she was the teacher and Kassy was passing!! ROTFLOL!!

I'm laughing because well....been there done that!! *lol* So needless to say the child is grounded bad!

Well that about does it for the Hale house! We got OU playing Colorado today! GOOO SOONERS!!

Good Friday Morning!!

WOOHOO FRIDAY!!!! Is it me or is the weeks just flying by?
Not much going on here today. Just a few daily household chores.
I've still got one or two bugs to get worked out with this blog layout.
My comments thing isn't working at the moment. Chili last night was delicious!
It rained all day yesterday and some over night. This morning was foggy, wet & cold!

Cold & Wet This Morning

If you like cold wet weather then come on down to Texas!! Our high today is 49* Brrrrr!!! And it's raining cats & dogs!!
I'm getting stuff ready to make a big pot of chili for supper tonight *yummy* I've got some cleaning to do and then Pilates with Denise *groan* *lol* But I must do it to stay in shape!
I made a deal with myself that before I can blog I must do at least 30 mins of my pilates! Starting tomorrow *lol* I can't believe tomorrow is FRIDAY!!

Hi!!

Hi Everyone!! I just finished some yoga & pilates with Denise Austin.
Doesn't her body just make you sick? *lol* The yoga is good for stretching in the morning and the pilates are good for arms, legs, & abs which is my main focus.
I'm sure I'll be sore in the morning but I feel great! We have a cold front moving in today so our temps will be much, much cooler. Highs in the 50's *Yea* Just a few things to get done around here today and then I'm off for a walk in the cool weather!
Do any of you have a neighborhood bully? We do. Right next door! *ugh* I'm wanting to speak to his parents but they are never home which is the problem, he's home alone and does and says whatever he wants.
Don't ya just hate a bully?! I may talk to the school and see if they can reach the parents or if they know how to reach them.
Okay I'm off to clean & go for a walk!!

Good Morning!

I hope everyone had a good Monday. Mine was ok considering not feeling good and Chad staying home.
We had a storm come through last night. Wind, rain, & hail. We needed the rain but not the hail.
We have much cooler temps for tomorrow & the rest of the week, today's high will be around 75*. Not a lot going on here today.
I will be changing my blog once again after college football season is over and also changing the name so look for changes soon.
I'm going to be looking for new ideas for my blog & graphics. Well I need to get out of this chair and get the house in order so I can surf around the net.

Yucky Monday

What a way to start a Monday. Aunt Flo is here and I feel horrible! Yucky cramps!!

Good Morning!

The weekend is almost here *yeah* I had more errands to run today.
While I was at Wal~Mart getting a few things I found the cutest sweat pants with my nickname minus the extra "T" *lol* I had to get them anyway! They are sooo comfy! Well not much new here...I did get most of the laundry done yesterday! I think I have one load left
Kinda dull and boring here today, it's nice every once and awhile!
The trees are turning dark reds, oranges, & yellows in the neighborhood. I just love it!!

Hello!!!

Hey Everyone! I'll be doing some work on my blog today (I think) *lol* when you see my laundry room you'll see why.
I'll be doing laundry alllll day! I missed one day of laundry and now I'm swamped. That's the reason everyday is laundry day here.
Last night dinner thing was okay. The steak was small and dry but the baked potato was yummy!
It was a short get together which we all like the short ones *lol* Afterwards we came home and crashed! Kinda boring huh? I did have the boys take our pic last night before we left.
Very seldom do we get dressed up. Well the laundry isn't going to climb in the washer by itself so I better get a move on!

Finally Home!!!

Hi Everyone! I'm just now getting home from Brad's doctor and a couple of other errands.
I am soooo tired! And we have a big dinner party to tonite for Chad's work.

I shouldn't complain it's a free steak *lol* The house is messy but it will have to wait until tomorrow!
I just got a new custom OU doll from Caprice to get up later!! Thanks Caprice I love it!!!
I'm trying to find some backgrounds for my blog. Well I'm going to go I've got a million things to do and then I have to get dolled up.

BRRRR!!!!!!

Very chilly here in West Texas! We turned the heat on last night so we were warm and toasty.
I'm enjoying a cappucinno this morning and I'm in my favorite sweater.
We should warm up to the 60's today. I loooove this weather! My plans for today is to upload some gifts and adoptions given to me.
Thanks guys! And general cleaning and I'm sure a load of laundry or 2. Chili was yummy yesterday. I never seem to make enough though *lol*
Tomorrow I take Brad back to the doctor so he can check on his progress with the meds. And I may do some stuff in town after I take him to school.

Big Game Day!!

I'm verrrry nervous about the Red River Rival as I am every year *lol* Bragging rights are very important! ha!
Well this is a very short post but will post more after the game
I have something to tell ya but a little scared to *lol* me afraid to say something (that's a first) anyhoo I know some people on the net that judge you badly.
I don't want to be judged by anyone...that's God's job!! Oh what the heck I'll tell ya now *lol*
I got a tattoo last night! Yep me! It was something I've wanted to do ever since I was a teen and now at age 32 I have one!
I do want one more though. No it didn't hurt a bit!! It tickled actually! *lol* I had Chad take a picture of it and will post it later.
You'll die when you see what it is *lol* I just hope people are smart enough to know that I'm still me!!!
I just finally got the guts to do something I've waned to do and I am proud of myself!!!

Gooood Morning Everyone!! Well it's finally Friday! The kids are sleeping in a little today.
Except Kassy, *lol* she's going to the movies at 10:40 and is up at 8am to get ready *lol* TEENS!!
The boys and I are going to run all over town goofin off *grin* and tonight I have a *HOT* date Woohoo!
Chad asked me out on another date...he must realllly like me *rotflol* I may go grocery shopping this afternoon so I don't have to tomorrow morning

Good Morning! Can't believe it's Thursday already! I have a couple of errands to run today and then that's it I'm coming home and relaxing!
Tomorrow the kids are out of school so they'll sleep in I hope! Then Kassy is going to the movies and the boys and I are going out to lunch and I don't know what else yet.
Josh loves books and wants to go to the library. I need to take some books back anyway. I'm getting nervous about the BIG game this weekend!
They have Texas to win by 3!!! *ARGH* Sooners defence has got to be on their toes!!!!! Same with our Offence!!! Geesh I'm worried *lol*
Today and tomorrow are going to be warmer then normal but it'll go back to being cold this weekend! May even have to turn the heater on!! Okay I must get things done here and leave soon.

Hi Everyone! I'm home for a lil while and wanted to blog a minute. Well I gave up on finding a good deal at the mall and went to some other shops around town and found some great deals. They screwed up on the shot thing and it's tomorrow not today. Soooo I'll be out again tomorrow only broke though *lol* The kids are out of school here Friday and Kassy has plans with friends and the boys and I will be out doing something. Tuesday will be busy also. Brad see's the doctor again and that night is the company Chad works for annual dinner. Chad just called and he's going to Dallas for that buisness thing but won't have to stay the night! WOOHOO!!!! Soooo I can blog hop and relax a bit. Busy Day Wednesday!

I had no plans on being gone allllll day Wednesday until Chad came home and told me *lol* How wonderful! So I thought I'd post a little now. (I'm Addicted) lol
We have flu shots tomorrow at noon. The best part is I've got cash to burn...Can you say mall?! *lol* I need some new jeans and of course if you get new jeans you might as well get a new shirt *Big Grin* I'm also hitting the big craft mall in hopes of some goodies for the house! It's raining!!

WooHoo! Maybe my mums will make it with the rain *lol* With my luck though they'll still croak. Did anyone see Oprah yesterday? It was girlfriends day.
It made me realize something...I really don't have a "True" girlfriend. Except online! I have tons of friends in cyberland *lol* The moms at the school are snooty and I don't like that, we haven't found a church home yet but I may go to the Wednesday morning womens bible study that a church offers that we've been to.
Yesterday I made pumpkin bread. It was sooo yummy! Oh you'll just be so jealous when I tell ya what else I did!! I...I...shampooed the living room carpet! *rotflol*
I didn't drag the vacuum down stairs but I have to today! It's icky down here! I didn't do my closet either *lol* I have to start taking the boys to school of a morning since it's dark outside now. Time will be changing soon and messing me up, it's not all that hard to do *lol*
I have a bad sinus headache this morning *ugh* I hope it goes away soon! I have to make a doctors appointment to have that anticipated "yearly" check up and mammogram. I give money to someone to smash the dickens out of my boobs! The things we women go through!

Good Monday Morning!!

Hi Everyone! I started my Monday with a nice 30 min walk through the neighborhood.
It's so nice outside, very chilly and gray. We should only reach highs of 60's today and tomorrow with a good chance of rain both days.
I put the kettle on so I can have a cup of tea to warm me up.
Not much going on here today other than vacuuming the downstairs den. I hate dragging that vacuum cleaner down those stairs!
I need to get in my closet and reorganize it and my scrapbook area is quite cluttered
I need to start scrapping again, I've just not been in the mood lately. You remember I planted mums a few weeks ago, well they are victims now.
I think they still may have a chance to survive my black thumb!

Okay the shower last night was nice but after the shower was another party get together.
That me & another lady shouldn't have went to. We felt soooo left out we decided to tell a fib and go home.
She took me home and I was so happy to be in my soft warm bed *lol*
I hate fibbing to people but I also hate being with people who act like you're not there!
I've decided not to go to the wedding. We've had so much going on lately with the kdis and work I want a weekend undisturbed with my family.
I am going to call her this week and let her know I won't make it. Okay through venting!

We had a nice evening last night.
We watched "We Were Soldiers" It's a guy movie! *lol*
Mel Gibson was great as he always is
I could relate to parts of the movie
I know what it's like to watch your hubby go off to war
All in all it was a good movie, I just didn't care for the blood and stuff
Sometime today we have to go to Wal~Mart
And Chad said I am going to the shower tonight!!
He said I need to get out and have some fun *lol* So I'm going!
I will miss most of the OU game however *drats*
I guess you can tell this is a special friend huh? *lol*

Happy Thursday!

Okay the weekend needs to hurry up and get here!
This is the busiest week I've had in a looong time!
Tonight Kassy plays at the football game during half time,
tomorrow nite is the band dinner (fund raiser) Geeesh!
I have no clue if we're going tonight or not. I'm not sure about tomorrow nite either *lol*
Saturday night I have a shower to go to. If I remember *lol*
Yesterday was a nice day, a little humid but other than that cloudy and grey.
I went for a walk with my camera and took some pics of the leaves turning.
They just started to turn so the pics aren't all that great.
A squirrel even stopped and posed for me *lol*
it was cute! Good thing Bear didn't go with me, he'd try to eat it.
I'm still working on the html and may just go ahead and upload it later today.
I hope it won't make a mess of my blog! I got the halloween decorations out yesterday.
The porch is decorated with a strand of orange lights, cob webbs are on the house and inside also.

Good Morning!

Hi Everyone!! Geesh I am soooo tired! I was gone most of yesterday and then we were gone all night because of the band battles. It was a lot of fun though! Kassy's band did awesome!! I'm not saying that just because it's her school band *lol* They played boogie songs and on one of the songs they had 2 boys drop their instruments and grab electric guitars and the crowd went wild!!! It Rocked!! The very end was cool also. All the bands played patriotic songs and had thousands of red, white, & blue ballons to turn loose and a huge American flag stretched out on the field by service men & women. The last song they played was "Proud To Be An American"
They find out today who won. (Got my fingers crossed) I'm still working on the new layout, I can't wait until it's up and all the bugs are out. I'm trying the 3 colums and I am having problems with the size of the tables and etc...I try to make it smaller but nothing. Well Brad took his first dose of his meds today and we'll see how he does. I pray it works!! Since I was gone alll day I have tons to do today. I miss one day of laundry and it looks like I have never done laundry in my life!! I did do one load last night and one so far today but I have more to go. I shampooed the master bedroom carpets Monday and I need to do the living room and the downstairs den/computer room. Okay I'm off to get started on the house and then back to fighting html *lol* Have a wonderful day everyone!

Ahhh! I'm finally home!! I've been gone alllll day and will be gone allll night too. I took Brad to the doctor this morning. I just love his doctor! He is the coolest and he acts like you're the only paitent there and the waiting room is full. He is going to try Brad on a med called Concerta, it's like Ritalin except it's one dose a day and it's time released. It takes 20 mins to kick in. I take him back in 2 weeks to see how he is doing. Cross your fingers!! I need to call the school and inform them that he is on meds now. I grabbed some lunch at Mc D's so I better go eat I'm starving. Monday Already?

Geesh where do the weekends go? I've got a busy day tomorrow so I must get the house back in order today. Tomorrow morning Brad see's the doctor for his ADD/ADHD and tomorrow nite is Kassy's big nite with the Battle of the band thing. She won't be home until 7ish tonite because of practice. Typical laundry and ironing today *yucko*
I'm kinda excited about the job thing. But the last time I worked I missed a lot of the kids stuff with school and the house was a wreck!! Good Morning!!

Woohoo!! My Sooners won last night!! Next week they play Missouri and the week after that it's the rival of the year "Texas Longhorns" Today we're watchin more football and the race from Kansas City. Yesterday we went to the mall and guess what? I was offered a job *lol* I took Kassy to her favorite shop in the mall called Rave Girl. They have all the latest teen fashions and etc... anyhoo we were checking out and one of the ladies that work there got to talking to me and the next thing I know she handed me a application for holiday work. They start hiring at the end of October. I think I'm going to go for it! We can always use extra $$$ around the holidays. Kassy thinks it's so cool! Her mom will be working at the hottest store in the mall *lol* I didn't find my friends gift or my black skirt at the mall, which was our entire reason for going. So I said forget it let's go to Wally world and get groceries and there I found a nice pair of black pants and a cute nighty for my friend. So everything is done! Okay I'm just getting outta bed so I need to get dressed and eat some breakfast. Enjoy your Sunday!!!

Ahhhh Saturday

Hi Everyone!! Chad and I had a great time on our date last night!! We went out to eat at TGIFridays and then we went to the movies. I didn't get to see Sweet Home Alabama *Bummer* it was sold out for the next 2 days here!!! So instead we seen the Banger Sisters *ROTFLOL* I loved it!! Chad was blushing through some of it but it was sooooo funny!!! Next weekend he said he take me to see Reese, I wasn't expecting it to be sold out. Today we're going to the mall and then grocery shopping. I didn't go yesterday. For the first time in years I woke up with no back pain or ache!! Woohoo!! Our new mattresses are soooo awesome! We have to climb up into bed now *lol* Well I need to go get ready for the day and later tonite we have college football *Goooo Sooners* Maybe later today I can blog hop finally....Have a super day!

Guess what I missed last night? Yep Friends *Argh* We were out buying new mattress. We've needed new ones for years just never had the extra $$ to buy them. They will be delivered today so my plans for the mall are scratched until they are here. I've got tons to do laundry wise and just general cleaning. Tonite we're going to see Sweet Home Alabama with Reese Whitherspoon. She is one of my favorites! I'm guessing we'll go out to dinner also unless Chad has changed plans all together *lol*
Oh another proud mom moment! Kassy has been chosen by Duke University to take her SAT test!!!! Her grades & high test scores are part of the reason. She is 1 of 3 in her grade to be chosen. She can take the test in Dec or Jan. We're going for Jan 25. I'm still in shock since she is only in 7th grade. They said this will help her get a scholorship for college. I'm just busting with pride!!!!! Okay I've got to go and start doing something around here. I'll do some blog hopping later if I get a chance.

Good Morning!! Okay that darn song comes and goes *lol* I just wish it would go! Todays plans are to find some energy to get the stuff done I didn't do yesterday. I'm blah again but I think it's because of that time of the month. Friends will be on tonight!! Love that show! Then after that I'm going to the store for a few things. Friday I'm going to be gone most of the day doing errands, paying bills *yuck* and I have to find a gift for a friend who is getting married in a couple of weeks. It's her bach shower & party. Good Morning

I'm about to go crazy *lol* what's new right? ha ha ha I have a song stuck in my head. It's been playing over and over since last night, I don't even know why this song is in my head since I haven't heard it or seen the movie in ages. The song is..."Grease Is The Word" ROTFLOL My wonderful husband didn't help matters this morning....He sings and hums away. ARRGHHH!!! We went out last night the first time in ages we went to one of our favorite places to eat (The Outback) and had fun just out together. Friday night Chad is taking me to the movies. We've decided that at least one Friday a month we're having a date! (Big Grin) So I have to decide what movie we'll see. Hmmmm...Any ideas? Sweet Home Alabama is one I want to see. Kassy is up for "Teen Of The Month" at school!! Crossing fingers she gets it!! We bought our tickets to see her school band battle with other area school bands. Battle Of The Bands is a big thing around here. Chad will be filming with the camcorder and me...I'll be snapping pics. Today is going to be warmer than normal *ugh* in the upper 80's at least it's not 90's. I need to look online for something to wear to a friends wedding. It's dressy so I'm not even sure what I'm looking for. Any good stores online to shop at? I'm going to the mall Friday to do some looking.
Well my big job today is 600 loads of laundry *lol* I didn't do laundry yesterday since I was out and now I'm swamped! OKay I need to go and get Kassy out the door. I'll do some blog hoppin later!

Hi Everyone!! I'm posting late today. Blogger was down this morning and I went to do some running around in town today. Went to a craft mall, library to get some books on landscaping and small gardens, and then to the mall. Yesterday I went dumpster diving *lol* I found a old bench and it's new home is my backyard! I moved my patio furniture to a shady place in the backyard and now I just need some mums for the flower pots in the back. I want a place where I can go and sit and relax. If Bear will leave me alone! *lol* that dog thinks he has to be loved on every second you're outside. I'm going to change and go out with a mocha cappucinno and go through these books. Good Monday Morning

Hi Everyone!! I hope everyone had a great weekend. Our's was nice, just laid around munchin and watching football. I'm looking forward to the game to nite. Last night I watched part of the Emmy's, my favorite was the countdown before the show on E! I love to see who is wearing who and who is with who *lol* Today will be a typical day....clean, laundry and Iron. Chad has the puter so I'm on my laptop today. WOOHOO!!! Chad called me and we sold our 95 Dodge Stratus!! They come get it tonite!! It's a friend of ours who is buying it. He couldn't come up with the asking price all at once so we're working with him on payments. He is giving us some down and that covers the bill that we've been so worried about!! Last Day Of Summer

Gosh how long I've waited for summer to be over and for fall to get here *Big Grin* I'm enjoying the cooler temps and I'm back on my evening walks. Our only plans for today are football, the race & munchin on pizza. I'm not sure what teams I'm cheering on today I need to watch the pregame shows and see who plays who. Some of you asked about Bear and how big he is. Well...he's HUGE! He weighs somewhere around 130-35 pounds maybe more, but he is such a big baby. He wants to be a lap dog soooo bad *lol* He's a sweetie and very protective of the kids. He's a gold lab and is very smart. He went to obedience school and knows several commands. Well I'm off to be an armchair quaterback *lol* Hope you're having a great weekend!!

Woohoo Friday!!!

Finally the weekend is here! Not that we have anything planned *lol* just a chilly weekend to cuddle and watch football! Yesterday I let the housework slide but I want to get some cleaning and scrubbing done today so I don't have to worry about it over the weekend. My meeting with Brad's teachers and school yesterday went well. I see the symptoms of ADD/ADHD is the cause of his problems with school and I am doing research on the net for some new meds that are time release so he wouldn't have to take pills at school like before. I hate to put him back on meds but if it helps him to get through a school day and get his grades up to passing I'm for it. The poor guy can't sit still or stay on the task in front of him. I'll do my research and call his doctor to set up an appointment for next week. We really like his doctor, he is the best in this area for treating ADD/ADHD. Wish us luck on this journey. Well if I'm going to get something done I better get my tush out of this chair. I'll do the Friday Five a little later and of course do some blog hopping! {{Hugs}}

I love the weather today!

It's very windy, cloudy and we have a wind chill *big grin* Ahhhh I love it! I've been out this morning running around and have a meeting today at 1:25 at the school. I'm going to quickly straighten up the house and then make myself a Mocha Cappucinno *sigh* I took Joshua's reading glasses in to be repaired and geesh people were everywhere and they were short handed. No major excitement here as usual. I'm ready for the weekend to get here! Well I don't have much to blog about so I'm going to go for now and will do some blog hopping later on today.

Back from my walk

I was up and at em early today and it feels good! I've gotten so much done *Big Grin* I just got back from a nice walk, it's going to be in the 90's today so I wanted to enjoy the cool temps while I could. Tomorrow I'm going to have some me time in town...nothing major planned but just getting out of the house is great! The weather guy said Sunday is the first day of fall *Yipppeeee* Finally it's here! Again today I didn't see a single tree even being close to turning colors *drats* I may go ahead and put my big scarecrow in my garden today, I want some pumpkins for the front porch. I'm going to finish up my ironing today and I'll soon have clothes to fold and put away. Last night I made a loaf of cheese bread *yummy* it was soooo good! Those cookies I made the other day are almost gone. They were every chocaholics dream cookie!!! Oh! I almost forgot to tell you what happened to Joshua yesterday! They have a choir group here in town called the Coronado Sixers (I think that's the name) anyway they held tryouts for it yesterday. Joshua wasn't going to try out but the next thing he knew they called him out of class and had him sing in the hall and he made it!! He's so excited!! Mom and dad are too!! *lol* as soon as he came home he told me and called Chad at the office to tell him. Well that's about all the news we have here...we may have sold our car we had for sale! But I'm not getting excited yet but gosh we could use the money right now! Fingers crossed!!! Okay I'm off to get some breakfast and finish up some house stuff. Have a great hump day!!!! {{Hugs}}

Good Morning

Well I'm feeling a bit better today still worried though. I did go for a walk yesterday morning and evening and did "some" yoga *lol* some meaning the ones that didn't turn me inside out *he he he* I actually got most of my ironing done yesterday *woohooo* I'm keeping up with the laundry so it's not a huge pile now! I found more of my fall decorations yesterday and got them out, except for my big scarecrow, he'll go out in the yard later this month. Not much going on here today. I do have to call the school about Brad & Joshua's shot records. I've told them a million times I do not have their shot records that they are in their school records and to call their old school to see when they were going to send them. *Geesh* lol Thursday I have a meeting about Brad. He's ADD/ADHD and we're trying to keep him off of meds. So I meet with the school several times in the school year to see what can be done to help him. He took meds before and may have to again if the situation doesn't improve. *Fingers Crossed* Okay I'm off to do something *lol* Have a great day!! {{Hugs}}

I Need A Favor....

I need prayers badly!! I'm not sick nor is my family. It's stupid bills! One was much higher than expected and now I'm worried sick! So a tiny prayer would be great!!
Okay on to other things. We had a good weekend lots of football and we watched the race. Our driver is leading the points but only by 6 points, we'll keep our eye on that. All and all it was lazy weekend. The chili I made was gone before long and I made a huge pot of it *lol* Last night I went for a walk and it was nice. The weather was just right not to hot and not to cold. It felt like fall *Grin* I walked through the neighborhood looking for any sign of leaves going to turn colors soon but nothing....in fact they looked brown and crispy. I do hope they turn soon! My plans today are to try and relax and keep my mind off the bad stuff *lol* Dr. Phil has his own show that starts today so I want to watch that. I love his advice. I may do some yoga today also. I have lots of ironing to do and one load of laundry so that should keep me busy. Well I'm going to go and will be blog hopping later today.

Hi Everyone!

Happy Sunday! I didn't get a chance to blog yesterday. I was baking cookies, planting mums & fall pansy's in my flower bed. And of course we watched college football *lol* Kassy went with a friend of hers to the Texas Tech game and I was waiting to see her on ABC or even a glimpse of her but nothing *lol* OU won their game *yippeeeee* the score was 68 to 6! We couldn't believe our eyes when we seen the score! My mums are in OU colors *rotflol* I have white ones and crimson ones...I took a picture or two yesterday I may try to post that later today or tomorrow. Chad and I went out on a date last night! *Big Grin* we went to the mall and then to our favorite Italian place. It was nice to get out alone. Thanks for checking to see how I was feeling. I'm feeling much better. My energy is back and it feels great! I hate being blah and sick! Bugs are already going around school *yuck*

Friday The 13th *eek*

Now if I can stay well today. Yesterday afternoon I started feeling bad and had a low grade fever. I took some meds and went to bed early, I feel better so far today. I think it was all the ironing I had to do *lol* I did get a lot done yesterday and the house is clean except for making my bed and cleaning the kitchen up from breakfast. I think this will be my bum day, I think I deserve it *lol* This weekend is going to be so nice...the high for the weekend should be in the mid 70's *yea* I bought stuff to make my homemade chili for the football games and the race on Sunday *Yummy* Speaking of eating my tummy is growling since I didn't eat last night. Hooray For The USA!!!

I am so very proud to be an American! Yesterday the streets all over town were lined with American flags, church bells rang, and services were held all day and went on into the night. I did watch some of the coverage on T.V. I found a show about the widow's left to raise small kids alone and some had their kids after 9/11. Oprah did a show on those left behind to pick up the pieces and try to carry on also..very moving. I hugged my hubby and kids tighter then ever and feel very blessed to have my family!

Since Chad was home yesterday we ran all the errands we needed to get done so that's out of the way. We even went grocery shopping so this weekend we don't have to fight the crowds and long lines. I still need to pick up some things but for the most part it's done. Today I have ironing *groans* and not much else except unloading and reloading the dishwasher. The kids had a good day yesterday and had a nice time meeting and thanking the local firemen that came to see them yesterday. Well I'm off for a bit but will blog hop later today, I'm going to watch the Presidents speech today on Iraq. I'm not sure I like the idea of fighting Iraq alone. Chad fought in Desert Storm and says the man is evil and dangerous and must be stopped. Well I better run before I get the soap box out!!

Hey Everyone!! I hope you're all having a great day! Laundry pile looks good *Grin* just a few things to do though as far as cleaning goes. Tomorrow Chad is taking the day off. He works in the tallest building in a city of 200,000 people. Well these days you can't be to safe. I'm not sure what we'll do for the day. I did want to watch some of the memorials but I don't want it to consume my entire day. I know Chad will get some extra Zzzz's! I may do some really good cleaning tomorrow *lol* you know to show the hubby how much I have to do around here *lol* gosh I hope he doesn't read my blog for a few days!! Well I'm off to get some stuff done...I've been mending clothes all morning...missing buttons and holes in pockets. Monday already?! Brad & Josh get out of school today at noon so my time on the puter will be short. I have to blog hop though, I haven't done that in awhile. Our weekend was great! Are you ready for some football!!!!!

Yeah football season is here!!! I still don't know what team I'll be cheering on this year. I like certain players and not teams *lol* I may go for the Cowboys since they have Roy Williams from OU. Speaking of OU...They won but barely!!! The first half they were on fire then...the quarterback Jason White blew out his "Other" knee *DRATS* and the back up QB just doesn't have what it takes to be a starter. Anyhoo the last half they were being whipped and then with minutes to go in the game...we pulled out a win! So now I'm a lil worried about the rest of the season. After the game it was time for the race...I was very happy with the out come *lol* Well I'm off to watch some football!!

Slept In

I loooove sleeping in on Saturday mornings. Chad had to go into work last night and is still sleeping and he goes back in tonight *ugh* He's just a little stressed out right now! Well they still are forcasting cooler weather for the next few days *yippee* and I think today I'll get my fall stuff out and decorate outside and inside. I'm not sure if the OU game is televised today or not. I sure hope so!! **GOOOO SOOOOONERS* We'll be hanging our big OU flag out today. So far no complaints from the neighbors, infact the lady across the street was happy to see we were Sooners *lol* she went to school there. Hmmmm...I guess that's about it for now. Just going to chill this weekend and relax as much as possible. If something exciting happens I'll let ya know *lol* but I doubt anything happens. Enjoy your weekend everyone!!!

WooHoo Friday!!!!

I'm soooo glad it's finally Friday! We don't have much planned for the weekend...watch some football (pro & college) and NASCAR. I wasn't home all day yesterday but once I was out and about I felt pretty good. I went to Barnes & Noble got a Mocha Cappucino *yummy* and spent several hours in the library downtown. After that I went to Chad's office a block away and we went to lunch. It was nice and something we haven't done in awhile. I'm currently reading Confessions Of A Shopaholic. Ohhh how I looove to shop!! Next week looks like cooler weather *Finally* now if it'll stay that way. All the stores and craft places are decorated for fall. I can't wait to get my fall decorations out of the garage!!! I also want to get some fall mums planted. The flower beds need some life and color, I hope to get some this next week. Not Feeling Well

I don't know what's wrong with me but I don't feel like myself. I feel sick at my stomach one min and fine the next. I do have errands to run today but planon getting them done quickly. I want to stop in Barnes & Noble to grab a Capuccino....may make me feel better *lol* I have to run to the post office and library but I'm not sure on the scrapbooking thing. I need to but just don't feel like it today...I'll go next week. The kids have classes the 11th...rumor was they wouldn't. They are to wear red, white, & blue and they are going to make a circle around the school holding hands and singing and have a prayer time. I see on our local stations churches are having a special service that night. Well I need to finish some stuff before I go this morning...Have a wonderful day!!

Hi Everyone! This week is going quickly. Not a whole lot going on here, same ol stuff...housework and laundry. I was going to go to my local scrapbook store today and use their workroom but decided tomorrow would be better. That gives me today to get my things ready and find pictures to work on. Good Afternoon

First of all *YEA SOONERS* woohoo!!! They won last nite. We had our huge OU flag hanging outside last nite. I'm happy to report no drive by shootings took place! *lol* Chad and I went grocery shopping this morning and ran some errands. He's offered to cook tonight *wow* and we went to get a nice bottle of wine to go with dinner tonite.
Not much going on here...the guys are doing yard work right now. Oh! and we are now on a diet.*groan* I got diet coke to drink and some sweet n low for ice tea. What a bummer!!! I'm going to do yoga every other day and kinda watch what I eat *lol* our cart wasn't very full this shopping trip. We had a storm come in about 2:30 this morning. Boy we really needed it too! Chad took the puter to work today to work on it and will have it for a couple of days. Happy Hump Day!!

Wow! Wednesday already! I'm not complaining *lol* I'm feeling much better today. Getting up at 6:30 really isn't all that bad. I did sneak back in bed this morning for a few mins *lol* It's nice outside this morning. Kinda cloudy but I know that sun will be out soon and heat things up *groan* I'm enjoying a cup of english breakfast tea today and I have a mulberry grubby burning making the whole house smell yummy. I loooooove grubbys!! In fact I need to restock *lol* I went to the school night last night and ended up leaving shortly after getting there. They need to get things better organized!! I went to the class room like I was told when I first walked in and I get to the class room and it's "no, no you go to the lunch room" I told them what I was told to do and they said no that's not right. So I walked over to the sign in sheet and signed in and left! The place was a mad house on top of that and is to small for big functions. Ok that's off my chest *lol* Now the year book thing hmmmmm....still can't decide on what to do with that one. I want to but....what if I don't like it or it's to time consuming? I have until Friday to get the form turned in so I have time to think it through. I called the lady who runs the volunteer stuff for the school and she said she did it for 3 years and enjoyed it. It's like scrapbooking *lol* I loooove to do that! She said I'd help with taking photo's and help put the pages of the year books together. Ok I'm off to through clothes in the dryer and more in the washer...anyone want to fold and put away? I hate that part * heh heh* I hope you have a good day my friends!!

Tired Tuesday

I've been up since 6:30 and have everything done except some ironing. I can't believe I did it being as tired as I am. I went to Kassy's school function last night. It was fun! The parents got to go through the child's day with them except it was the short version *lol* so we changed classes and went from one end of the school to the other. I got there at 7pm and didn't get out unitl almost 9pm. I learned quite a bit about the classes she is taking. She is taking advanced classes in every subject, I didn't know advanced was 8th grade work. She has more homework then others but she doesn't seem to mind and she is enjoying being challenged with the work. I hope she doesn't get burned out by this. Tonite yet another school and 2 schedules to go through and Chad has meetings and can't make it. Hmmm...how to be in 2 places at once? I'll figure something out I'm sure. I can't wait to meet with Brad & Joshua's teachers again. I met them at open house but it was so crazy I barely got to say hello. I'm even thinking about signing up to be on the yearbook staff for the boy's school. Chad thinks I'm crazy for even thinking it *lol* I know it'll be time comsuming but it could be fun. Have any of you done it? I wish my comment thingy worked and still no luck with Geocities on uploading my linkie....I may end up emailing the darn thing out *lol* Another hot day here *groan* we were 102* yesterday and expect 100* or more again today!! Good Morning

The weekend was great!! We were soooo lazy and felt blah because we didn't do a thing. But it was fun! I'm sure I gained a couple of pounds...we ate junk!! *lol* The kids loved it though. I have to go to Kassy's school tonite and meet all of her teachers and see how things are going. Tomorrow nite it's Brad & Josh's turn. They get out early today the boy's will be home by noon and Kass will be here at 2pm. So my me time is limited today. I have laundry today and of course some ironing. Oh and since I didn't do diddly squat this weekend I have to clean everywhere! Dust & vacuum & mop.

Lazy Sunday

We have done nothing all weekend except lounge and pig out on snack food!! Oh and I caved a little on my cokes *lol* I've only had 2 not counting today. We're going to watch some DVD's today and if some football is on of course we'll watch it. Awww The Weekend

I went to bed early last night. I didn't feel good, sore throat and a ear ache. But this morning I feel fine. I have to the store today to grab snack stuff and etc...we can't be couch potaotes with out snack stuff *lol* We'll be watching the race tonight...I hope there will be some football on pro or college this weekend. There really isn't much going on here. I do have a question for all of you ponder. Ok Brad will be 13 *geesh* in 3 months. We want to do something for his bday but have no clue what to do or where to have it. Kassy will be 14 *Gosh* in 4 months her parties are easy...sleepovers. Josh turns 12 also in 4 months but may do the bowling thing for him. So what to do about Brad's? Hmmmm....

I did manage to get some linkies up yesterday and added some blinkies. I love those little flashy things!!! I still need to get my linkie up on a page so you can get it but that will be later this weekend. Ok I need to get dressed and go fight the rude people at the store. Have a wonderful day!!

~*Yippee It's Friday*~

Ahhhh...My favorite day of the week! Well the first week of school has gone very smoothly. I hope I didn't speak to soon!*lol* The kids really like their teachers and are going to have a great school year. Today I don't think I'm going to clean house, it's not all that bad and plus Saturday's are my big cleaning days. I do need to work on my blog some and get my linkie added and some that I've found. Now to make myself do it! So you may see some changes here today *maybe* lol No plans for the weekend except to lounge around and be couch potatoes...we're good at it too. Well I've cut back on my coke in take and so far I haven't had convoltions (sp) but I think my body is in shock *lol* I had my first coke in 2 days last night. Ohhhh it was so gooood!!! I'm not sure why I cut back *lol* maybe to show myself I could do it *lol* who knows. I do feel like I have more energy though. Ok I'm off to check mail and to get Kassy out the door. Here I Am!!

I'm on late today (for me) lol I usually post early in the morning but I needed to watch some DVD's before sending them back to Netflix. We looooove Netflix!! It was the entire first season of Friends...Loooove that show! Anyhoo I'm staying home today. I got all of my running done yesterday. It really was just a ME day! I went looked at the stores I wanted to and went to see my old buds at the store I worked at. Hmmmm...it was ok I guess. I got the inside scoop on somethings and not sure if I'll work there again! Let's see what else...Kassy already has to sell things for a fund raiser for band...It's the 1st week of school and already has to go door to door *geesh* Of course it's chocolates and other fatty stuff *lol* but hey it sells!! Not much else is going on here today...Normal laundry and other house stuff. I need to blog hop today. I didn't get to yesterday and I need to call my Sis, we haven't talked in ages!

It's 8:30 and I've already have had a busy day. I took Chad to work this morning so I can have the car and get out and do some stuff for ME! I may even stop in at my old work place and see what's new, I do miss the girlz. Brad & Josh walked to school this morning...I worried all morning if they made it ok *lol* then I noticed Josh left his reading glasses and I took them to the school..they made it fine! Kassy got her P.E. clothes last night, we had to go to 4 stores to find the shorts though and the stores were packed. *Grrrr* Rude people everywhere! I just got an email from my sister Kathy saying I'm a great aunt again! Kayla was born yesterday! *Yippee* My Niece Jessica is doing fine, this is her 3rd child. I've lost count of all the nephew's and niece's I have and their kids...Geesh I'm old! Well I've got a dirty kitchen to clean before I go this morning so I better get to it. Yippee! It rained!!!!

Oh PTL!! We needed this rain very badly too! My weather pixie is sporting an umbrella *lol* I hope it would rain all day but nope notta chance. Humid and hot today!!! I'm doing laundry and have a couple more loads to do and since I cleaned and scrubbed yesterday I don't have to clean house today *Grin* I'm one of these people who has to have a tidy house. I'm not feeling to badv getting up at 6:30 every morning. I get more done and feel pretty good, now the weekends will be a different story *lol* I'll be sleeping in. Well the first day of school went great for all 3 of my kiddos. Of course they had more papers for me to fill out and sign and of course need money for this and that. Kassy alone needs 15 for a year book and 22 for band shirt. She also has to have by tomorrow P.E. clothes and of course they want certain colors and we've got to buy those tonite. That's the one thing about school...it's expensive! I took Brad & Josh to school and Kassy is about to leave so I better go and see her off!! Enjoy your day!!!

*WOOHOO* First Day Of School!!!

Ahhhhh it's so quite except for the swishing of the washer and dishwasher *lol* Our baby girl has left for Jr High *sigh* and mama's boys Brad & Josh headed off for 6th grade. They were very excited and ready to get the year started! I hope to get a lot done today with cleaning and etc...I've gotten quite a bit done since I got up at 6:30....I even made pancakes for breakfast *lol* I'm sure I'll need a nap later this afternoon but will go to bed early tonight. Well that just about does it for my blogging...Chad didn't take the computer with him after all *Joy* he wanted it for the week *heart failure* lol. Good Sunday Morning

YEA!! Tomorrow is the first day of school! *Yippeeee* Today will be a lazy day today. We'll watch the race and if football is on we'll watch it also. We had a blast last night!!! The kids are pretty good bowlers! They want to go Cosmic bowling often now *lol* they turn out all the lights and have black lights every where. The pins glow in the dark as well as the bowling balls and they play the best music ever! We were singing and acting goofy hopefully nobody notice *lol* We didn't get home until after midnite, we played for 3 hours. Everyone is still asleep except me and Joshua, he's playing a video game. We'll be getting things ready for school tomorrow this afternoon *sigh* Chad did mention last night me and a part time job again...so I guess this week I'll call my old boss back and see if I can go back but just part time *groan* Well I better get some breakfast going. Ahhh Saturday

I'm not sure what our plans are for today but we've got stuff planned for tonite. We're taking the kids out for dinner nad fun afterwards. The kids and I have been watching cartoons and playing video games this morning...Saturday's are the best! Still no rain and the heat is still burning everything up. It's so depressing!

TGIF!!!!

Good Friday Morning!! We had a scorcher yesterday 99* and the same for today with no chance of rain yet again! The kids and I may do a rain dance today! *lol* I'm ready to try anything!! I did manage to fall outta bed at 7 this morning...I was only 30 mins late! I have been watching James Taylor on the TODAY show...I enjoy listening to James Taylor's stuff. The kids are out shooting hoops and hopefully they will enjoy their last days of freedom. Kassy and Brad spent the day in their rooms all day for not obeying me so they were pretty board *lol* I had a Martha Stewart moment last night...homemade cinnamon rolls Mmmmm they were so yummy this morning! I have ironing to tackle today and of course laundry. I need to vacuum and dust *ugh* Well it won't get done with me sitting here. I better get started! I'll blog hop later!!

Ooops!

I let the kids sleep in today instead of getting them up at 6:30 as planned. I just couldn't make myself get out of bed *lol* I was so tired! After we got home yesterday afternoon an hour later Chad called and needed me to take him to the doctor. A few months ago he broke his elbow and it's causing him some pain so I took him to see his doctor. Then it was off to get his meds filled and that took well over an hour due to them having problems with our insurance but they finally got it figured out. Let me just say "Thank God For Insurace"!!! So by the time we are finished with all that and stopping in the drive thru at Mickey D's it was after 6 when we were finally home!!! Today I'm here alllll day and maybe will get rested and my house in order. The kids are not to bug me today about playing outside and etc...we had a family meeting last nite and they know they need to be here at home to enjoy the last days of summer with me. So movies and video games will keep us busy. Tonight I go with the boys to their school to meet their teachers. Well I need to get my tush out of this soft comfy chair and get the house clean...I'm not even dressed yet *lol* tomorrow I must get the kids up and at em at 6:30 sharp!! *Ugh*

This is going to be a busy day. I've got tons of errands to run and that'll put me behind on somethings around the house. I hope I can get most of my running before it gets too hot! Waiting For Fall

The weather man reported that today would be like fall...much cooler temps, clouds, and rain. I'm still waiting on it to get here! We woke up to sun and a few clouds *bummer* I was hoping to see my weather pixie sporting a nice fallish outfit with an umbrella *lol* Well on another note the countdown to the first day of school has begun!!! Next Monday they will be walking to school and I will regain my peaceful days *sigh* I will feel lonely the first day or two but that usually passes fast *lol* Today I'm going to "try" and make the Martin thing blink *lol* or if all of you just blink really fast it will look like a blinkie!!! If I can't get the darn thing to do right I may send it to a blinkie specialist!! *lol* I have more laundry to do today not much thank goodness! And we have Kassy's thing at the school tonight, Chad doesn't want to go. This is his baby girl going to Jr High and growing up to fast for him. We're trying to come up with something to do this weekend since it's their last weekend of freedom before school starts. They'd love to go bowling so I'll call and get prices on that and may try to find something else to do. Well I'm goign to get my day started and will blog hop later this morning.

Ugh Monday

Well I'm here kinda late this morning. To bad it wasn't because I was sleeping in *lol* I was doing laundry...I didn't do laundry allll weekend so I'm paying for it now. My parents left early this morning so I seen them off and started cleaning up. Like I said before it was an ok visit. Not much else happened over the weekend just a lazy day yesterday. I am sore from shooting hoops *lol* my poor arms! Hey!..good excuse for not folding laundry *lol* Today nothing major going on. Josh is going to the movies with a friend, Kassy is over at a friends house already this morning, and Brad is splattered on the couch with bed head watching T.V. *lol* Tomorrow nite we go to Kassy's school to meet teachers and etc...Thursday nite we go to Brad & Joshua's school to meet their teachers. I feel sorry for them! *lol*
I'm one of these moms that is at the school weekly to see how they are doing and etc...Kassy I don't have to do that with but these boys I tell ya!!! Anyhoo I need to get off my rump and get to cleaning *story of my life* Enjoy your Monday!!!!

Good Evening

Chad was called into work so I thought I'd try to get some work done on my blog. I still need to get the banner exchanged started but I'll tackle that tomorrow or the next day. My paretns leave in the morning. I think I'm ready!! It was an ok visit but something happened and I'm just ready for them to go for awhile. I try so hard to not let things bother me but somethings just plum bug me!! That's all I'm gonna say about that!! We had fun shooting hoops today. Chad got the limbs trimmed back and now we can see the goal *lol* I think we're all sore from playing around. We did have something exciting happen in our neighborhood tonight. We had a police chase on our block. One block over the chase ended with the car stopping a few feet away from plowing through a house! The guy fled from his car on foot and they caught shortly after that. I hope to hear something on the news in the morning sinced I missed the news at 10. Nothing ever happens in this town *lol* it's nice and quite. Well I'm going to go to bed now. Nite

Good Morning

I just rolled outta bed and went straight to the cappucinno. I'm slowly waking up! Well we had somewhat a busy evening yesterday. We took my parents out to eat at one of our favorite places called Hub City. Across the street is the Buddy Holly Center and we took them through it. It was my first time to see it myself. We went out for ice cream *mmmm* and after that we came home and rested a little while and then were out again *lol* my parents decided to buy the kids a basketball goal so the guys were up late trying to get it set up. Now today they have to trim back the tree behind it so we can see the goal *lol* Not much else is planned today. We are NASCAR fans so we'll be watching the race today. Still Yawning

We went to bed late last night and shouldn't have since we couldn't sleep in today. Chad had to go help his guyz fix some equipment at 8 this morning...So I got up and I'm enjoying the morning time!! It's cool and cloudy outside and the kids are still snoozing and I'm sipping cappucinno *Happy Joy* I've got just small things to do this morning. Like make sure the house is sparkling clean *lol* My mom and dad should be here by noon or 1pm. I hope this is a great weekend...in the past their visits haven't been so wonderful. Wish us luck!!! I loooove Fridays!!! Well I got a lot done yesterday except the bedding that's today. I'll go over the dusting again tomorrow before my paretns get here. The weather man said we could expect cooler temps over the weekend so maybe we can do some outdoor stuff. I know we have plans to go out for dinner but nothing else is planned. I did manage to get those pesky boxes out of the bedroom and diningroom...I quickly went through them and out to the trash they went!! Chad still has a box to go through and the boxes will be gone!! I need to tidy up the desk in our bedroom. It's cluttered with my scrapbook stuff. I need to get back into scrapbooking. I hope to do that when the kdis get back into school. The place where I use to work (scrapbook store) has a free work room to use and I may go once a week as a treat to myself! Ok I have a Proud Mom Moment There is a young girl that lives across the street from us and the month that we have lived here I noticed that she doesn't have friends over and stay's to herself. She was born with one leg shorter then the other. I asked Kassy why don't you go over and see if she'd like to play or something? Kassy went right over and they have become fast friernds!! Last night there were at least 10 kids over playing basketball with her. Kassy said she told all her friends about how cool and nice she was and they all wanted to meet her. I'm really proud because Kassy didn't go by the outside and judge someone she made her decision from what matters most...The inside!! I was afraid she might lose that when she became a teenager due to peer pressure and the need to be popular. Ok Proud Mom Momemt is over!!!

I'm starving so I'm going to grab some breakfast and coffee...Then a few more chores to do and maybe I can do some blog hopping later!!!

One more day until the weekend!!! Well it is confirmed that my parents are coming in for a visit this weekend. Today and tomorrow I'm going to be a cleaning fool!! I've got to wash bedding, iron *sob*, laundry, sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, oh and alllll the boxes still unpacked from the move a month ago...MUST be unpacked today. My sweet hubby said so! *lol*
My parents wanted to see the kids before they get back to school and life get's hectic for us. We went school supply shopping last night. Chad tackled Brad & Joshua's list and I got Kassy, her's was simple since she's in Jr High and the boys...oh gosh you name it they needed it! We couldn't find the right folders they needed so we're still on the look out for those.

Geesh Wednesday already? Anyone else notice the days are zooming by? I'm sooo blah again today...I just hate not having energy. I'm getting ready to get the kids enrolled this morning. The kids are excited about seeing the schools and meeting teachers. They are so not like me at that age *lol* I hated school!! I'm glad they enjoy it! The park is next to the schools so we'll go feed those straving ducks when we're done. I'm not sure what else we'll do...sinceI didn't get housework done yesterday I'm way behind today. My mom called a sec ago and said that they were going to try to come see us this weekend and leave Monday. Well the kids are ready to go and still need to get my face on *lol*

I'm back from enrolling the kids *geesh* what a process *lol* It took forever! Kassy's was the longest. She had to meet with a counselor and then go over her classes and grades. She did not get to take basketball because it conflicted with advanced band. She has homework already *lol* the band director gave her some music to learn. Brad & Josh are really excited about school and getting to see old friends. We went to the park and bombarded by hungry ducks *lol* I should've taken the camera! I will next time!! Well I've got laundry a mile high and vacuuming and countless other things to do since we may have company this weekend. Enjoy your day!!!

Hi Everyone!! Did you watch Monday Night Football? We did and I'm ready for the season opener!!! Football and Hockey are my 2 sports!! And fall usually follows right behind them! *Joy*
This morning I got up and took Chad to work and kept the nice car *lol* I have some running to do today and some tomorrow also. The kids are staying home alone for a couple of hours so I can get some quite time even though it'll be running around I don't care *lol* Maybe Chad and I can sneak off to lunch together. After I was done with errands I called the kids and asked if they wanted to go to the library and of course they wanted to. So I stopped in and picked them up and hopefully the books will keep them busy and quite (I'm not holding my breath) *lol* Anyhoo I'm home until tomorrow...I'm enrolling the kids and then we're going to the park to feed the ducks. I pray we get some rain soon...My poor potted plants (they were beautiful) are fried to a crisp now. The heat is killing everything! Monday already! I wish the weekends were longer! Well Chad is at work today, he rested all day yesterday and feels fine today thank goodness. We didn't do anything yesterday, just watched the race and relaxed. All in all it was a good day. Last night I did have a Martha Stewart moment and made cinnamon rolls from scratch. Not bad either!! I need to have more MS moments *lol* We snacked on those and have plenty for breakfast today. I need to get some little things done today around house. I need to finish a book I'm working on called Cane River but I'm just not in the mood to read today. I feel tired and blah so I took some Vivran *lol* I hope it kicks in soon so I won't drag all day! I just love sleeping in on Saturday's....Chad was up until 2 am working on another computer so he'll be sleeping for awhile *lol* Not to much planned today since I did most of the housework yesterday. I may tackle more of my ironing pile there are just a few shirts left! First Lady Laura Bush is in town today so security is tight all over the city so I'll just stay home and miss the excitment *lol* Kassy is at a sleepover and will be home sometime today, it was a birthday sleepover. They were dressed with grass skirts and lays (sp) and went trick or treating last night!! I was ROTFLOL!!! They said one guy gave them a box of Twinkies and some others little candies and of course the few "come back in October" *lol* Teenagers!! Also last night Chad hinted that I should go back to work only part time this time *sigh* I don't want to but we'll see what happens. I missed so much of the kids stuff last school year becasue of me working and I don't want to do it again! Well I'm going to go for now, I may do some blog hopping later on. Have a great Saturday!! WOOHOO FRIDAY!!! I'm ready for the weekend!! Well after spending the entire day running around the city I'm home for the day today *yippee* and of course being gone all day means double the work today. I have to sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust. And there's always laundry and that dumb pile of clothes to iron *groan* We finished clothes shopping yesterday thank goodness! With money tight around here I was worried. My next worry is school supplies. I'm trying very hard not to worry but that's my weakness! I'm a worry wart!!!

Nothing is planned for the weekend. I hope Sunday to make it to church and that's about it. It's pretty boring around here until school starts *lol*

I'm awake *Yawn* barely though...Make the PMS go away!!! And of course it's on the day I can't lay around in my jammies!!! Well scratch Kassy's enrollment after I called last week and talked to the principle and he said the 1st. I call today to see what a good time would be and get "oh it's not today it's the 7th". Anyhoo I need the extra time to find Joshua's shot record...All the stuff we mom's have to keep up with! Let's see today is going to be somewhat busy. I have shopping to do *joy* before lunch I'll drop the kids off at home and have to pick Chad up from work at noon to take him to the doctor. This weekend is the no tax weekend but we did that last year and it's not worth fighting the crowds and long lines to save a few bucks. It was a nightmare!! We are through with Brad & Josh's stuff but still need to get Kassy a few more outfits. Chad can't handle store hopping *lol* so her and I will do that tomorrow I hope....love shopping!! I even snuck a little something in for me...I looove clothes!! Ok this chick is pooped out needs to recharge for more shopping *wink*

Good Morning! Wednesday already? Good grief where did the week go? *lol* I had a nice chat this morning! It's a great way to start the day a nice chat with a great friend!! Thanks Susie!!! I feel so much better!!! The weather man sounds like a broken record..hot, dry, & humid...I hope August will be cooler but doubt it. Tomorrow I have to take the kids to the schools and enroll them. I have to find their birth certificates and a few other papres to enroll them...If I only knew where those darn papers were *lol* I last seen them before we moved. I have 5 boxes in my bedroom to go through still....add that to the laundry and oh that pile of clothes to iron *lol* I think that's my cue to get outta this chair!!

Ok I'm ticked!!! Where is my tag board? *lol* Geesh I may have to get another one somewhere else! This day has been horrible...the kids mostly coming in and tattleing and then of course you have to hear all 3 sides of the story and try to figure out what really happened, who's fibbing and why *lol* I need some Calgon!!!

While I was out blogging I went to Grace's blog and read that she will not have a blog any longer! I'm in the dark on what happened since I just got back online a couple of months ago. what's up? I have no clue what happened nor do I want in it but it seems like people never grew up or got over Jr High and High school immaturity. It's sad!!! **I'm off my soapbox**

Good Morning! I didn't get to blog or surf around yesterday much, Chad was home and on the puter most of the time *sigh* The kids and I went to the library and checked out more books I'm reading Tis which is the sequel to Angela's Ashes. Yesterday the weather was nice. It was cloudy and much cooler!! This morning it's cool and foggy...comeon fall!! Today my plans are normal, clean and laundry and the chore I hate the most.... ironing!! *lol* I have tons of that waiting for me. Well I better get outta this chair and get moving!
